Theatrically speaking, I’ll sit through almost anything….

….but I like to think I’ve got more discerning….

Member of the Critics Circle Drama section and regular reviewer for WhatsOnStage.com and formerly for the now defunct Musicals Magazine, and 2016/7 theatre panellist for Laurence Olivier Awards.

I’ve been at the theatre on a regular basis since the age of 8 (so that is more than 25 years now……don’t overthink this bit). I’ve seen thousands of stage productions, mainly in London and New York but also in Chicago, New Jersey, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Vienna, Oslo, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Belfast, Sydney, Brisbane….and in the UK, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Chichester, Manchester, Birmingham, Bath, Sheffield, Leicester, Glasgow, Cardiff and, er, Croydon. I’ll go anywhere for a bit of live action and red plush.

Studied Drama & English at University of London, worked in theatre all my professional life (apart from a mercifully brief stint doing recruitment, and working in the now defunct Le Croissant Shop at Paddington Station…..who ate all the pies? Yes that was me.)

Oh yeah, and I’m a Libran.
